This is the same path that everyone of us has to embark on sooner or later. Such is life! At this time, you should vigorously cultivate the personal deity (or yidam) practice. Speaking of the personal deity, the power was too great because we just had a power surge. That was the demonstration of the deity's power. What are the advantages of the personal deity practice? If you can unite with the yidam, then the yidam will appear before you. Therefore, it is very crucial to attain union with the personal deity. Attaining spiritual union means to unite as one entity. The yidam merges with you and you merge with the yidam, and then you can definitely enter the Pure Land of the personal deity. Regardless of whether you are enlightened or not, so long as you persevere in your practice of uniting with the personal deity, you will definitely be reborn in his Pure Land (applause).

Enlightenment is rather difficult and seeing Buddha-nature is even more challenging. What exactly is enlightenment? Enlightenment is what Shakyamuni Buddha realized under the bodi tree, which is beyond the comprehension of all people in the mundane world.

Union and uniting into one entity are paramount. You must sincerely pray to your personal deity to enter you or maneuver your mind qi into the personal deity. That is considered to be the union.
